Post #2: My Dedication To Flight Crews Around The World

Dear Blog,

Over the years I've been blessed with great crews when I travel. Below are just some of them doing their jobs (with the occasional me in the picture as well). These crews are the life and blood of the airlines and their forefront faces as well.

For a while now, since the arrival of my new camera, and before that, my memorable picture with an entire Cathay Pacific 747-400 crew, I've been taking pictures with flight attendants whenever I fly. I've talked to most of them and trying to get an understanding of their viewpoints to the world of traveling, airlines business in general, and much more.

In all honesty, one might be surprised when talking to a flight attendant for the first time. Their knowledge of the world is of course, plenty, however more often than not, they are kept away from the policies of the airlines they worked with until these policies affected them in the end.

With the advent of the global economic breakdown in 2008, air travel haven't really been the same. Meanwhile, flight attendants around the world are starting to feel the crunch in their workplaces and have seen reductions to their benefits, pay, and everything else. Somehow though, these dedicated men and women kept on continuing their jobs with a smile on their face, and keeping their chins up in the hopes of better airlines not only for them, but also for the customers.

And what do you know? the best flight attendants truly care about what the airlines are doing to their customers. More specifically, how their policies, decisions, etc are having diverse effects on passengers. A thing or two that airlines execs around the world should take notice, for gone are the days of airlines can do whatever they want without notice, and oh boy what big notices they have nowadays!

This blog is dedicated to their service to their customers and their care to make air travel a safe, enjoyable, and memorable experience.
